

Henry Roy Hudson Jr. a 71-year-old resident of Theodore, Alabama, passed away on January 30, 2026 after a battle with pneumonia. Henry graduated from Central Alabama Academy in Montgomery, Alabama in 1972. He was a member of The Boy Scouts where he received his Eagle Scouts Honor. He grew up in Montgomery, Alabama and his passion was water skiing on Lake Martin.
After graduating from Central he received a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from The University of South Alabama. He fell in love with Mobile Bay and resided on Dog River. His favorite restaurant was The River Shack where he shared his famous seafood gumbo recipe. He played the drums and was in the Pensacola Maquires restaurant Irish band. He was an active member of Dauphin Island Parkway United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fellowship with his friends at The Tillman’s Corner Senior Citizens Corner.
He is survived by his sister, Beverly Hudson; niece, Desirae Carlton; niece, Kelsey Krauel and two great nieces, Stella and Piper Krauel.
Henry requested no funeral to be held and only immediate family at graveside laid next to his beloved wife, Janice Hudson.
