Isabel Sullivan Moore

Isabel Sullivan Moore, a native and resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023. Born May 15, 1945, to Dr. George J. Sullivan Sr. and Regina (Shannon) Sullivan, she was preceded in death by her parents and brother – George J. Sullivan Jr. She is survived by her three children: Mark (Kimberly) Langham, Allison (Ralph) Gatrone and Brian Moore, and seven grandchildren: Courtney, Madison, and Abigail Langham; and Charlotte, Rose, Thomas and Eleanor Gatrone. She is also survived by her brothers Charles (Pauline) Sullivan and Vincent (Ann) Sullivan; sister, Regina Ollinger; sister-in-law, Junelle Sullivan; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Isabel was a 1963 graduate of Bishop Toolen Catholic High School where she reigned as Queen of May Day ceremonies. She attended Springhill College and graduated from the University of South Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She was a lifelong member of the Catholic faith. Isabel was a former Catholic school teacher and a hospice social worker. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church on Friday, April 21, 2023, at Noon. The family will receive friends at the church from 11am until the hour of the Mass. The Rosary will be recited at 11am. Interment will be at the Catholic Cemetery.
