He was preceded in death by his parents, Neil Vaden Kennedy and Alma Alyne Megginson Kennedy; his sister, Kathryn Kennedy Martin; and three brothers, Kenneth Kennedy, Don Kennedy, and Ellis Kennedy.
Survivors include five daughters, Laura Kennedy (John) Braswell, Karen Kennedy (John) Pelican, Donna Lynn Kennedy, Kris Kennedy (Andy) Price, and Kathryn Irene Kennedy, and their mother, Linda Howell Kennedy; one brother, Robert T. Kennedy; one sister, Sue Kennedy Waters; nine grandchildren, John Thomas Braswell, Coleman Kennedy Braswell, Daniellle Pelican, Erin Pelican, Seth Pelican, Emily Pelican, Drew Price, Luke Price, and James Ellis Kennedy; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
A memorial service will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered at www.radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com.
