Jimbo was my dentist for 31 years, and was therefore my friend for 31 years. He was a great person and a great dentist. We shared a lot of jokes and laughter when I was "in the chair."  I loved running into him  around Mobile and on some Alabama football Saturdays in Tuscaloosa. RIP Jimbo, you are now in your eternal home in Heaven.

I am so sorry to hear of Jimbo’s passing.  We lived nextdoor  on Parkman Avenue in Selma  1963-65 and always had so much fun climbing this huge tree in their yard.  We also had such fun with Nan, Julie . I also remember going to the country club to swim. My deepest sympathy to your family!

Dr. Martin was my dentist for years before I moved to South Carolina. He not only was an excellent dentist, but kind and funny. I offer my deepest sympathy to his family and to his staff. He was a good man.

Jimbo was always so friendly, and he had a beautiful smile for everyone. May God's presence comfort your family during your time of grief.

Jimbo was a wonderful person.  He was actually my Cousin for a while. I have fond memories of Cousin Jumbo back in the day.  My Love, Thoughts & PRAYERS are with all his Family.

Jimbo's family lived behind mine for many years and we shared many years of wonderful memories. His parents and mine were the closest of friends, as were his brother David and me. I send wishes for God's peace to his family.

Jimbo’s father was my godfather. His mother was my mother’s best friend.  His brother David and I learned to walk as we played together in Selma more than 70 years ago.  My family and the Martins go back a hundred years. I’m very sorry to learn of Jimbo’s death and will be thinking of all the Martins in days to come.  Peace be with you.

Jimbo was an uncle, mentor,  dentist and most of all ... friend to me.   He was a great man and is in a the best place now.   I will celebrate all the many memories from hunting/ fishing to the 100's of dinners and holidays.   

Jimbo was one of my favorite students.  I graduated with his big brother, David.  I didn't know he had been sick.  I wish his family well and know they have many, many wonderful memories to keep him close to their hearts.  Love you, Jimbo.  Mrs. Alsobrook
