

Mr. James Oswald Patrick – born December 29, 1919 in Mobile, AL to Douglas Patrick and Emma Oswald Patrick, died Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at the Allen Memorial Home. Mr. Patrick married Mary Eura Boudreaux on July 6, 1946 and she preceded him in death on February, 12, 2002. He was the owner and operator of Patrick’s Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Company. He was a charter member of St. Monica Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 666 where he served as Past Grand Knight and was instrumental in organizing the annual altar server banquet each year. He was a Chief Petty officer in the U. S. Navy. Mr. Patrick was also preceded in death by his siblings, Douglas Patrick, Reverend Ernie Patrick, Emelise Matthews, Mary McAdams, and Leslie Patrick. Survivors include nine children, James M. (Bonnie) Patrick, Cynthia Patrick, Joan (John) Coheley, Marie (Preston) Goldfarb, Ernie (Gail) Patrick, Valerie Johnson, Dan Patrick, Lisa (Stan) Wiese, and Eva (Rusty) Burnett; one brother, Frank (Angie) Patrick; twenty-four grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 P.M. on Saturday, May 28, 2011 from St. Monica Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Allen Memorial Home. Interment will be in Catholic Cemetery.
