Jane Pitts Hughey

Mrs. Jane Pitts Hughey, age 93, longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Jerry B. Hughey, parents, Lee B. and Sadie Hanes Pitts, sisters, Betty Ann Pitts Hendrix Wheat and Shirley Ruth Pitts Henderson.

Mrs. Hughey was a member of Dauphin Way Baptist Church. She will be remembered by her family as a loving mother, grandmother and an awesome fighter in life. She is survived by her three sons, Lawrence Hughey, Richard Hughey (Laura) and Phillip Hughey. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Mark Hughey, Richie Yarber, Jennifer Hughey, Carmen Morehead and numerous great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
