Jesse M. McLeod III

Jesse M. McLeod III passed away June 12, 2016 at Thomas Hospital. Jesse retired from Alabama State Troopers1978. Jesse graduated from Troy State University with 6 years of College, he was a marvelous BBQ cooker, cooking for the State Troopers and wedding receptions also serving one of the Troopers with his first oyster.. Jesse served in Driver licenses, Enforcement ND Driver tag pick up, He also served on the Board of Directors of the Mobile County Navy League for several years…..Commander of American Legion Post 88 and Legion Post 3. He always tried to help others get ahead.. Jesse leaves a loving wife Evalena McLeod who was his caretaker from Aug. 2015 till June 2016. Jesse suffered with Alzheimer’s and Dementia which robbed him of his life.

He was preceded in death by his father Jesse M. McLeod Jr. and Mother, Martha McLeod, he leaves behind nieces and nephews; brother, Richard McLeod of Riverside, California; sister, Jane Rabon of Bushnell, Florida; aunt, Bess Weissinger and Cousin Mary Ann Kennedy of Magnolia Springs, Alabama; along with many other relatives.

Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 15, 2016 At Pine Crest Funeral Home; the family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
