

Stephen was born on March 30, 1946 to Rhea Walters Everett (Bobbee) and Thomas Maiben Everett in Mobile, Alabama. Не attended Gulf Military Academy in Gulfport Mississippi. Before retirement, he was a hydraulic technician for International Paper Company. Stephen will be remembered by his family and friends for his warm personality and kindness.
Stephen was an avid reader of westerns and a member of his local motorcycle club, the Southern Cruisers, where he enjoyed participating in charity rides for his community.
Stephen is survived by his children; Sherilyn Kay (Jeffrey) Day, Karen Vivian (Michael) Jordan, John Stephen Everett Jr., and James Dylan (Keki) Everett; sister, Jackie Van Klaveren; seven grandchildren, James Day, Rachel Day, Ashley Hamilton, April Englett, Claudia Normand, Joan White, and J.D. Everett; four great grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Penny Brossett Everett, parents and stepfather, James Tippens Grace; and brother, Thomas Sherwood Everett.
Visitation will be on Saturday, July 26,2025, from 11-1pm, at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin. Following the visitation, there will be a graveside service at Pine Crest Cemetery at 2pm.
