John “Larry” Goodman - a native of Mobile and a resident of Theodore, Al. for the past 20 years passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014, in a local hospital. John was preceded in death by his father, Alton O. Henley and his son, John L. Goodman, II. He is survived by his wife, Mary “Darlene” Goodman of Theodore, Al., mother, Lillian Marie Henley, two daughters; Robin Gaddy and Rachel Goodman, step-daughter, Pam McDade, step-sons, Freddrick Lee and Paul Lee, brother, Vernon Alton Henley, two sisters, Gloria E. Sizemore, Deborah Ann Reeves, 12 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives, friends and coworkers. John loved working with his hands, especially woodworking. A celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
