John Russell Pigott

John took his final sail into the sunset, surely there are boat drinks being served in the hereafter. He loved sailing, riding his Harley, annually playing Santa at the Daphne Hooters and throwing barbecues for friends and family. John was a graduate of

the University of South Alabama and served four years in the U.S. Navy. He retired a Lieutenant from the Mobile County

Sheriff's Department after twenty-five years of service, during which time he served eight years with the DEA Task Force.

John was preceded in death by his parents Norman and Elouise Pigott and son Adam Pigott . John Pigott is survived by and forever missed by Susan Dearing Pigott, loving wife and best friend of twenty-eight years. Brother Tommy Pigott (Nancy), Sisters Francis Wright (Jimmy) and Norma Ensminger. Sons Andrew Pigott (Alice) and Michael Pigott (Jennifer), Daughter Michelle Roberts (Jason), Daughter-in-law, still and always, Kathy Miles (Robert). He will be lovingly remember as PawPaw by his four granddaughters, MaKayla Roberts, Samantha Pigott, Alia Miles and Skylar Pigott. John's memory will live on through a host of nieces and nephews and many special friends whom he considered family.Arrangements under the direction of Pine Crest Funeral Home, Mobile, AL.
