
Johnnie Faye Thrash Manuel Collins- was born August 11, 1925, in Union, Ms and passed away October 18, 2014 in Fairhope, Al. She was a lifelong member of Orchard Assembly of God and enjoyed eating ice cream with her eldest grandchild, Victoria Ashton, playing "tea party" with her granddaughter, Sienna Marie, watching her grandson, Christopher Nathan play baseball and rocking her youngest grandchild Justice Michael. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Constance Lorraine Manuel Alford Clark, parents, Adam Luther and Bertha Mae Thrash, brothers; George Adam Thrash, Randolph Elie Thrash, Charles Raymond Thrash, Gerald Thash, sister, Joyce Elmerine Thrash. She is survived by her daughter, Merlynn Faye Manuel Glatfelter, son, Floyd Jarrell Manuel (Becky); step-children, Betty Yarbrough (Richard), Phillip Collins (Beverly), Claude Edward Collins (Carol), Marie Washam, Carol McPherson, and Camille McCrory; grandchildren: Meredith Glatfelter (Mark) Langley, Charles Nathan Glatfelter, Steven Keith Glatfelter, Catherine Marie Alford, great- grandchildren: Christopher Nathan Garrett, Sienna Marie Langley, Justice Michael Langley, Victoria Ashton Nicholson, Thomas Glatfelter, Tyler Glatfelter, great, great grandson, Aiden Glatfelter, sisters, Sybil Thrash Sistrunk, Sennie Mae Thrash (Mose) Mallette, brother, Donald Wayne (Virginia) Thrash along with numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2014, from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Daupin Street with visitation beginning at noon. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery.
