Joyce Steadham Morris

Mrs. Morris was a long time resident of Mobile, AL. Mrs. Morris was employed for many years by Radney Funeral Homes.

She is survived by her husband, Windle Morris; daughter, Lindsay Trawick Bixler; daughter-in-law, Helen Yvonne “Sissy” Trawick; grandchildren, Bradley Bixler O’Neill (Kelby), Walter Gaillard Bixler, Jr. (Pam), Marshall Harrison Bixler, and Clayton Matthew Trawick; five great-grandchildren, step-children, Janette Geiger, Jerry Morris and Jackie Morris; brother, Gaywood Steadham (Erma); and sisters, Rebecca Gregory and Mitzi Boardman (Paul).

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Katie Steadham; son, Donald Maxwell Trawick, Jr.; brothers, Norris Steadham, Lindsay Steadham and Royce Steadham; and sisters, Juanita Eubanks and Irma Fulford.

Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Chuck Boardman, Happy Fulford, Billy Bixler, Gaillard Bixler, Kelby O’Neill, Harrison Bixler, and Clayton Trawick.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 4051 Old Shell Rd. Mobile, AL 36608.
