Julia Vermelle Harris

Julia Vermelle Harris, age 83, a native and resident of Mobile passed quietly Friday, 05-25-2012 after a brief illness . Vermelle was born, 10-19-1928 in Orchard, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, Chris and Mary Brunson, her husband, Edward B. Harris, SR, brother, Chris Brunson, sisters, Audrey Foote and Dorothy Morgan. She leaves to mourn her passing her children, Jeanette Harris Whatley of Bay Minette, AL, Edward B. (Jeanette) Harris of Eight Mile, AL, Ronnie (Gayle) Harris of Elberta, AL, Calvin (Kay) Harris of Semmes, AL and Shannon (Charlene) Harris of Saraland, AL, sister, Virginia Drinkard of Chunchula AL, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, other loving relatives, friends and gracious caregivers at Oakwood Nursing Home, Bay Minette, AL She was a member of Snow Road Baptist Church. Visitation will be held Tuesday, 05-29-2012 at Moffett Road Assembly of God Church from 1pm until service time at 3pm. Rev. Paul Montalvo Pastor of Snow Rd Baptist Church and Michael Harris ,Children's Pastor of Moffette Rd. Assembly of God Church officiating. Interment will follow in Wolf Ridge Road Cemetery, Mobile, AL.
