

Karl Cecil Williams - Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away Sunday, April 30th, 2017 to live eternally with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lily Ware Williams and Kerney Cecil Williams, uncle, James H. Ware, son, Kearney Cecil Williams and grandchildren, Karen Wigal and Colton Gunn. Born in Waynesboro, MS, he later moved with his family to Mobile, AL where he resided until his passing. He attended Murphy High School and graduated from Johnson Motors factory service program in Waukegan, Illinois. He loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren and was well known for his sense of humor, imaginative story telling, culinary talent and creative genius but above all, his desire to help others. He worked for many years in the marine industry beginning with McCleod Marine where he met his second wife, Sidney Anderson Williams. He later worked for Bagwell Boats and became close friends with owner, Mr. Tom Bagwell. The business later became Bluewater Yacht Sales after being sold to Mr. Earl Long, also a good friend, where he was Sales Manager until his retirement. He was well known at the office for his ability to repair or build anything, but also for pulling pranks on unsuspecting co-workers and coercing others to join in the melee. He left a legacy of love and beautiful memories for all those fortunate enough to know him and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children, Virginia C. Reid (Bennie), Jimmy D. Williams (Alice), Addie C. Fowler (Bobby) and Henry J. Williams (Jennifer), grandchildren, Amanda C. Wigal, Kenneth K. Turner, Jacob M. Turner, Ola J. Gunn (William), Joshua L. Williams, Aaron L. Fowler, Grace N. Fowler, and Hope A. Fowler, five great-grandchildren, sisters Joy Lyons (Jimmy), Janie Thompson (Buddy), Cynthia Catlow (Bill), Faye Radcliff (Steve), Lisa Poole (James) and brother Harry Williams and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends..Memorial services will be Saturday at 1:00 pm at Radney Funeral Home - Mobile. Visitation will be Saturday starting at 12:00 pm Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, Mobile, AL .
