Kathryn Granny B Morgan

Kathryn “Granny” Morgan, a longtime Mobile resident, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday. The simple things in life are what made “Granny” the happiest; family, home, friends, church, and working in her yard. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bennie “Pop” Morgan. “Granny” is survived by her children, Genyth Brown, Sarah and Fred Allman; grandchildren, Shannon Allman, Frank Brown, Todd Allman, Drew and Sarah Brown; great grandchildren, Morgan, Griffin and Alana Brown, Mary, Kathryn and Michael Allman, Collier and Sara Allman. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 12 noon, at Pine Crest Cemetery on Dauphin Island Pkwy. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to her church, Grace Presbyterian Church, 1255 Navco Rd., Mobile, AL 36605. Her family would like to give a “Special Thanks” to all of those who showed “Granny” so much love and kindness, especially over the past year.
