

Kelly was born on May 7, 1959, in Wiesbaden, Germany, to the late Loyt and Jane Calloway. He graduated from Wetumpka High School in 1977 and received his associate’s degree from John Patterson Technical College in 1979. He met the love of his life, Diane, in 1982, and married on April 15, 1983. They spent 42 wonderful years together. He was steadfast and committed to living a life that put the happiness and well-being of his family first. For those that knew him, he was a true example of selfless love for and dedication to his family.
Kelly worked for NCR Corporation for 44 years until his retirement. He was a member of Kingswood United Methodist Church. He loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren, who were his entire heart, he loved great food and grilling, but especially loved dessert. He loved fishing and watching the boats go by, but most importantly, Kelly loved the simple things in life. He especially liked spending time with his wife on their deck watching the birds and drinking their morning coffee, but his happiest place was always the beach.
Kelly is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years; Diane Calloway, three Daughters; Amber Weber (Charles), Brittney Smith (Daniel), and Candace Zimmerman (Taylor), six grandchildren; Madison Weber, Mason Weber, Brooklyn Weber, Cooper Smith, Braxton Weber, and Levi Zimmerman, one sister; Kim Whigham, brother-in-law; Mike Whigham, mother-in-law; Maxine Whigham, and many other family and friends that will miss him deeply.
Kelly was preceded in death by his parents; Loyt and Jane Calloway, and father-in-law; Kenneth Whigham.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 9 to 10am on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Pine Crest Funeral Home in Mobile, with a Memorial Service being held at 10am.
