Lawrence Byrnes "Byrnsie" Kuehnle

He graduated in 1967 from South Natchez-Adams High School, in Natchez, earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of the South (Sewanee) in 1971, and obtained a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from L.S.U. in 1988. Mr. Kuehnle served in the U.S. Army Security Agency from 1971 through 1974 in the Intelligence Division, stationed in Berlin during the Cold War. He worked for a number of water treatment companies in a management capacity.

Mr. Kuehnle enjoyed golfing with friends and business associates, playing games with his grandchildren and online with his brother, but his favorite activity of all was taking his family and friends to Disney World over the years. He was fortunate enough to have nineteen first cousins counting both sides of the family, who were more like brothers and sisters to him and with whom he maintained frequent contact.

He was married in 1979 to Marion Frances Alvarez of New Orleans, Louisiana and Mobile, Alabama. In addition to his wife, Mr. Kuehnle is survived by one daughter, Lauren Margaret Kuehnle Rachel (James Nicholas); three grandchildren, Helen Louise Rachel, Byrnes Nicholas Rachel and Howard Joseph Rachel; one brother, Robert Joseph Kuehnle; sisters-in-law, Baldwin Tidmore and Lauren Keller Alvarez; nephew, Jake Alvarez (Matrisza); great-nephew, Keller Alvarez; cousins and other extended family.
