

He is survived by his wife Priscilla Sterling Pace; Daughters Jackie Pace Lassiter (Sammy), Sonya Pace Mulkey, April Pace Marcell (Todd), Kerri Pace Pryor (Todd), Kim Malinauskas Kern (Robert), Sons Carl M. Pace, And Todd Malinauskas (Karen). Along with his 15 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and many devoted friends.
Lee graduated from Murphy High School in 1956. He served for four years in the United States Air Force. Lee worked in the Post Office Service before eventually being promoted to Division Director Operations Support, New Orleans Division. He soon came back to Mobile al the Director of City Operation. He took an early retirement in 1989.
Lee loved spending his days with his family. He was deeply loved by his grandchildren. Lee loved reminiscing on the good ole days. He would tell stories about late night dancing with his wife, Priscilla, war stories, even stories about blowing up lockers in his high school days.
Lee loved and cared for everyone around him. He was thoughtful, kind, a protector, and a provider. He never let his family go without. Lee was a spiritual man. He believed in love and forgiveness. He would often spend his free time listening to the “good” music and developing his spiritual growth. Lee is now close and wrapped in the arms of his Heavenly Father, which is exactly where he wanted to be. He will truly be missed.
Visitation for Lee will be on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, with a memorial service in the chapel immediately following.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Waterfront Mission in Mobile.
