Linda Mixon Skipper

Linda was predeceased in death by her parents, Kinsey P. Mixon and Pauline Lartigue Mixon. She is survived by her children, Darlene (Perrin) Elebash and Paul (Mystie) Lawson; eight grandchildren, Perrin, Parker, Claire and Camille Elebash, Kynsie, Layne, Finlea and Holland Lawson; one brother, Kinsey (Pam) Mixon and one sister, Martha (Hank) McCawley, also, survived by many nieces and nephews.

Linda graduated from Bishop Toolin High School in 1966 and went to work at the Mobile Courthouse. She retired in 2014 from Circuit Court after 43 years of service with the State of Alabama.

Linda was an active member of St. Matthew’s Catholic Church and was involved in many other parish groups and organization in the Archdiocese.

In lieu of flowers donation can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home, Mobile, Alabama. A Rosary Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated in the Chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Lartigue Family Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama.
