Lloyd Stapelton Peacock Jr.

Mr. Lloyd Stapelton Peacock, Jr., age 51, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, August 12, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Margaret M. Peacock. Mr. Peacock was employed with International Paper Company for 18 years and was a self-employed Automotive Technician for over 15 years. He was a member of the Southern Cruisers Motorcycle Club whose rides benefited St. Jude’s Children Hospital and was a member of Myers Memorial Baptist Church. He was an avid Nascar fan, and loved his yearly trip with his family to the mountains. His family will remember his caring, attentive spirit, laughter, and sense of humor. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and “Grampy”. He is survived by his wife Suzanne Peacock, children, Holly Hughes, Tosha Boyle (Andrew), Richard Peacock (Ashlyn Smith) and step-mother, Loureena Peacock. He is also survived by his siblings, Penny Peacock Manchester, Roy “Danny” Daniel Peacock (Rhonda), Margaret Ann Peacock, grandchildren, David Sweat, A.J. Boyle, Elijah Boyle, Rory Taylor, nephews, Joseph Peacock, Jeremy Manchester, and other family and friends. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A celebration of his life will be held in the Oakleigh Chapel at the funeral home immediately following.
