Lomax Josephine Sanders

Lomax Josephine Sanders – a 91 year-old native of Bogalusa, AL and a resident of Mobile passed away Friday, December 24, 2010. She was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. Mrs. Sanders was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Ray Sanders, Sr., and grandson, Brian Sanders. She is survived by four children, Jesse Ray Sanders, Jr. (Fran), Judy Lomax Tolbert, Carl Gray Sanders (Robin), and Pamela Gayle Vaughn (Victor); nine grandchildren, Kristy Holley, Jason Tolbert, Joshua Tolbert, Travis Sanders, Jessica Sanders, Jamie Sanders, Julianne Sanders, Casey Vaughn, and Abby Gayle Vaughn; seven great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Providence Hospital Medical Intensive Care Unit for the special care our mother received. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Monday, December 27, 2010, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the service hour.
