Lori was the sister who could do anything and everything. She was an amazing daughter, wife, mother and aunt. She was a loyal and generous friend and had a great love for children and animals. She loved her family above all else and would do anything she could to help when and where she was needed.
She worked tirelessly for Hollinger's Island Elementary School and Little Flower Catholic School. She was employed by Infirmary Federal Credit Union; BankTrust; Mobile County Public School System; and most recently at Horne, LLP.
Lori touched the lives of everyone she met. She loved to volunteer at her children's schools so much and so often that everyone knew her as "Mrs. Lori" She inspired every child to reach higher and farther than they could imagine. She cared for them heart, mind and body and they never doubted her love and protection.
She extended that love far beyond the school. She became a friend to everyone she met and offered help and encouragement in every situation. Her smile lit up so many lives and her personality was larger than life. She looked for the good in others and made them see the good in themselves.
She was devoted to her children. There was never a doubt about how proud she was to be Victoria and Gavin's mother. She took delight in everything her precious children did.
Lori was a great advocate for animals and always tried to help any stray that she came across her path. She and her children volunteered at the Animal Rescue Foundation and her passion for animals never wavered. She also loved to fish with her husband and family. She loved going to the West End of Dauphin Island and spending time near the water.
Lori's faith and devotion was unparalleled. She made daily calls to her mother, sister and many others. She made visits to the hospitals to check on others; created cakes for lots of occasions; became involved as a coach for various sports and never neglected her family during the time she gave to others.
