Lucille C. Simmons, age 96, a native of Fairhope, AL., and resident of Mobile, Al. passed away on January 12, 2017. Her life was filled with absolute love for her family, she will be remembered for always giving and taking care of those she loved so much but especially for the cards of love for Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries and the other occasions, giving them brought her such great joy.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert & Fannie Nelson Campbell, husband Harry D. Simmons, son Harold (Bo) Simmons, 2 grandsons, 3 great grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 4 sisters and 1 brother.
Survived by her children, Edith Lucille Moorhead of Stockton, AL. Harry “Bud” Simmons (Beverly) of Pearl River, LA., Yvonne ‘Bonnie” Burch (Tom) of Fort Peck, MT. Deloris “Nita” Padgett (Ron) of Spanish Fort, AL. 15 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren, 20 great-great grandchildren, loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January, 16 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Pine Crest Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January, 17, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Burial to follow in Pine Crest Cemetery.
