Margaret Ruth Kirkland, age 96, a resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Monday May 27. She was born February 16, 1928 in Perdido, Alabama.
She was faithful to her family and church. She knew and loved Jesus and took great pleasure serving in her church and helping anyone in any way she could. She also loved her family and took great pleasure meeting needs in every way she could. She was always giving and never interested in taking. She will be remembered as a Godly woman who touched the lives of everyone she met.
She is survived by her two sons Calvin (Annette) and Ernest (Joyce), one sister, two brothers, grand children, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Millard, daughter Bernice, son Paul, grandson Chad, five sisters, and four brothers.
Services will be held at Radney Funeral home on Dauphin Street on Friday, May 31. Visitation will be at 4:00 pm with the service following at 5:00 pm.
A private graveside service will be held at Cedar Creek Baptist Church located in Castleberry, AL. on Monday.
Family and friends may sign a guest book before the service.
