Martha Hornbeak Imsand, age 90 of Mobile, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017. Mrs. Imsand was a devoted Catholic who loved her church and community. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who loved her family and doing for them. She enjoyed dancing: especially Tap, the Christmas holidays and her Bunco group.
Mrs. Imsand was preceded in death by her husband, Louis J. Imsand, Jr.; son, Louis (Louie) Imsand, III; and parents, Jesse James and Lillian Lee Hornbeak.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory three daughters, Carmen Tuite, Angela Cydrus, and Lee (John) Barnett; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 906 Garrity St. Mobile, AL 36605 at 10 am on Wednesday, January 18, 2917. The family will receive friends from 9 am until time of services. Entombment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery Mausoleum.
