Mary Sue Douglas Boone

Mary Sue Douglas Boone – an 81 year-old native of Mobile and resident of Semmes left this earthly home to live forever with her Savior and loved ones on Tuesday, July 19, 2011. She retired from McKenzie, Parker C.P.A. after many years of service as bookkeeper and was a longtime member of College Park Baptist Church where she was very active with the Homebound Ministry and the Charity Sunday school class. Mrs. Boone was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Rev. H.M. “Max” Boone. She is survived by her children: Don Boone (Jamie), Randy Boone (Becky), and Richard Boone (Sue); nine grandchildren: Chrissy Boone Morris (Keith), Heather Boone Crouch (Charles), Ross Boone, Matthew Boone (Gabby), Zack Boone, Rachel Boone, Lynn Boone Richardson (John), Jason Boone (Chrissy), and Jessica Boone Allen; six great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from College Park Baptist Church on Saturday, July 23, 2011, at 12 noon. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour.
