Mary Jane Hall, age 70, was born August 16, 1951, in Earle, Arkansas to the late Clarence Sr. and Ella Coats. She moved to Indianapolis, Indiana at an early age and grew up surrounded by her large family. Mary professed her life to Christ at an early age and was a long-time member of Mount Olive Baptist Church. She was a wonderful cook who loved to travel and spend time with her siblings and grandkids.
Mary’s life changed drastically when she lost the love of her life, her husband Larry Hall in 2020. They were united in marriage on their birthday’s August 16, 1970. Mary departed this life in the early morning hours of February 6, 2022 and will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
She is preceded in death by her husband Larry Hall; daughter Tierra Holt; father Clarence Coats, mother Ella Mae Coats, sisters Lucille Fields & Judy Coats; and brothers John Coats & Ike Coats. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving son Jamaal (Briana) Holt; 2 grandchildren Jamyra and Jamaal Jr; brothers Clarence Coats Jr & Jerry Coats; Sisters Rosie Heath & Bertha Suggs; and sister-in-law Clara Coats. Mary also leaves behind an extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery.
