Mary Louise Howell

Mary Louise Howell – a 92 year-old native of Mobile County and longtime resident of Semmes passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2012. She was a longtime member of Allentown Holiness Church and an avid gardener. Mrs. Howell will always be remembered as a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vaudy James Howell, and two children, John Edward Howell and Sheron Elaine Cowart. Mrs. Howell is survived by four children, Frances Louise McDonald (Kenneth), James David Howell (June), Garner Ray Howell (Denice), and Judy Ann Howell Young; son-in-law, William Cowart; daughter-in-law, Hilda Howell Edwards; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, great, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, May 4, 2012, at 10 a.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 3, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Springhill Memorial Gardens.
