Mary "Pat" Harrell Waldo

Mrs. Waldo was a lifelong resident of Mobile, and had resided with her son and daughter-in-law for the past five years. Mary was a long time member of Navco Baptist Church where she worked on staff for many years. She worked in the Accounting Department of First National Bank and later, AmSouth Bank before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; one sister; and her sons, Glenn E. Waldo and W. Eric Waldo.

Survivors include her son, Alan W. (Velera Wilson) Waldo; daughter-in-law, Patty Fenstermaker Waldo; five grandchildren, Valerie Brown, Cynthia Brown Roeder, Brooke Waldo Parizo, Heath M. Waldo, and Patricia Brown Thompson; twelve great-grandchildren, Cassandra M. Brown, Denny Sudore, Evan Hanson, Gloria Thompson, Rachelle Sudore, Jennifer Thompson, Aliyah Waldo, Christian Rodriquez, Jimmy Sudore, Joey Sudore, Jaron Parizo, and Joann Powell; two great-great-grandchildren, Kyle J. Brown and Alex J. Beard; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 4, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery.
