My Dearest Mom,
I've never had trouble finding words to express my love for you, but they fail me now. I could never imagine how much I would miss you and how many times I've reached for my phone to call you just to realize I can't. God has been merciful and has assured me you are with Him and happy. That brings me great comfort. I know I will see you again one day and this is just a temporary separation. I will always love you and am so grateful I was blessed to have you as my mom. Thank you for always loving me.

MARY DAY

Janie and I were friends since her years in Athens, Ohio and continued over the years while she lived in Mobile. We enjoyed visits via Skype and occasionally when she and Charles came to Athens. She was a kind loving person and I will miss her Mary Day

Ron and I have known Janie for 55 years. She had been a dear friend. We talked by phone across the miles weekly. She was a very kind and generous person, and I will miss her and her chuckling humor with a sad heart.
