Mrs. Mary “Evelyn” Taylor, a native of Troy, Alabama and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Thursday, November 25, 2014. She was a retired clerk with the State of Alabama. Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph O. Taylor. She is survived by her children, Vermelle (David) Burgett, Jamelle Jemison, Rebecca T. (Wayne) Gray; brother, Millard (Sue) Austin; four grandchildren, Rachel (Joey) Daugherty, Michelle Mendoza, Jonathan (Kathryn) Kudulis, Jason Kudulis; three great grandchildren, Logan, Emma and Ethan. Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Pine Crest Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Pine Crest Funeral Home.
