

Mrs. Maxine Renick Williams, age 94, native of Ashland, MS and longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Mae Whiteside Renick, husband, Harry Earle Williams, siblings, Juanita, Lee, Troy, Earl, Wesson, Louise, Jack and Sadie. Maxine married Harry Williams of Mobile, AL in 1949 after working at Brookley Field during the war effort and retired after many years of service with the Mobile Housing Board as Administrative Assistant to the Director. Following her retirement she spent her time in helping to raise her grandsons, providing loving support during their early childhood. Mrs. Williams is survived by her children, Martha Williams Fagan (James D.), Harry (Hal) E. Williams, Jr. (Kathryn), grandsons, Kevin Earl Williams (Melissa), Michael Louis Williams (Lucy), John Daniel Williams (Elaina) and Robert Tyler Williams. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, Sara, Ethan, Quinn, Madeline, Emersyn, many special nieces, nephews and other family. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Monday, September 14, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Magnolia Cemetery.
