Michael Israel Bronstein

Michael Israel Bronstein - A native of Galveston, TX and a resident of Mobile, AL for the past 32 years, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010, in a local hospital.

Mr. Bronstein was an active Mobile businessman. He was President of Bron-stein's Fine Furniture, and served on the boards of the Congregation Ahavas Chesed, Mobile Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board and Mobile Greyhound Park Board of Directors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hyman Bronstein and Mary Kellner Bronstein. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Maisel Bronstein; four children, Mara Bronstein (Phillip) Gipson of Houston, Michelle Bronstein (Jason) Touchton of Mobile, Noah (Lara) Bronstein of Atlanta, and Robert Bronstein of Mobile; three brothers, Martin Bronstein of Houston, Reuben Bronstein of Houston, and Stanley Bronstein of Phoenix, AZ; one granddaughter, Hannah Touchton; other relatives and many friends.

Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at 4:00 p.m. in Ahavas Chesed Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ahavas Chesed Congregation, P.O. Box 850804, Mobile, AL 36685-0804, or to the charity of your choice.
