

Michael was a graduate of Murphy High School following which he joined the United States Navy. Upon Honorable Discharge from the Navy, he returned to Mobile working primarily in the energy sector at Shell Chemical, eventually retiring from Vertex Energy in Mobile.
He was predeceased by his father, James Bernard Martin, III, and his mother, Mary Josephine King Martin; sisters, Marie M. Matthews (Paul) and Louise M. Aniszewski (Craig).
He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Auito Martin; son, Michael Dominic Martin; siblings, James B. Martin, IV (Kellie), John R. Martin (Leigh), and Veronica M. Kase (Pete); his nephews and nieces, James G. Martin (Kristin), Kathryn M. Toomey (Robert), Jackson P. Martin (Anna), Mary Page Martin, Patrick D. Martin, Parker C. Aniszewski (Katerina), Andrew M. Aniszewski, Lauren M. Kase and Emily A. Kase; and lifelong friends, David Mayhall, Joe Mayhall, Mike Banks, Judson Botts, Jerome Parsons, and Thomas Bates.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 18th, 2026, at 12:00 noon at Pine Crest Cemetery West, followed by a Celebration of Life at TP Crockmiers.
