Myrtis Ann Allen

Myrtis was born August 9, 1943, to Elmer and Lucinda Brannon. She attended Murphy High School and obtained her diploma. Myrtis met her husband, Donald through a friend and were married for 44 wonderful years. She loved going to the thrift store, gardening and loved animals. She had a green thumb and was able to make anything grow. She set a tremendous example of faith, love and strength of character, and was a source of inspiration to all who knew her.

Myrtis is survived by her loving husband; Donald Allen, four daughters; Melissa Tullos (Timmy), Felicia Huff (Jerry), Celeste Stevens (David), and Michelle Lowry (Wayne), six grandchildren; Coy Stevens (Sheena), David Stevens, Jared Huff (Nancy), Cynthia Lowry, Chloe Taylor (Justin), and Michael Lowry (Amy), nine great grandchildren, sister; Mary Register, brother; Ronnie Brannon (Rhonda), and many other family and friends that will miss her deeply.

Myrtis was preceded in death by her parents; Elmer and Lucinda Brannon, and sister; Faye Whitington.

Visitation will be held from 9am to the 10am funeral hour on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Radney Funeral Home in Mobile. There will be a graveside service immediately following the funeral at 1:00pm at Mt. Carmel Methodist Church Cemetery in Jay, FL.
