

Myrtle Alicia Nicholas Boudan, known as "Lisa", passed away at her daughter's home in Albany Louisiana, Thursday afternoon December 9th, 2021, at the age of 85 in the care of her two daughters and North Oaks RMC Hospice.
Lisa was born in Mobile, AL on October 27, 1936, the second of three daughters to Mark Anthony Nicholas and Louisa Sabino Nicholas Pitts. Her father died when she was a toddler and her mother relocated to Pascagoula, MS. where Lisa grew up under the care of her aunt and maternal grandmother. She married James J. Boudan in October 1956 making their home in Bellefontaine, AL where they raised two daughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy, her parents and older sister Marie Nicholas Robinson. Survivors include her two daughters, Angelicia Boudan Wagner (Clint) of Albany, LA and Brigide Inez Boudan of Bellefontaine, AL. Grandchildren Brianne Alicia Threeton (Joshua) of Springfield LA, Dr. James Christopher Hall (Paige) of Madisonville, LA and great-grandchildren Barrett, Charles, Jaxson, Reese & Collyn. She is also survived by younger sister Marcia Nicholas Stallworth and siblings from her mother's second marriage.
Known to many for her artistic ability in sewing, crochet, knitting and painting, she was primarily known to all as a Prayer Warrior. Lisa was a member of St. Phillip Neri Parish for over 65 years faithfully serving in
many capacities including Parish Councils, Altar Rosary Sodality, as Church Bookkeeper, on the Lawn Party, and other parish committees. She also conducted weekly Bible Study programs and was affectionately nicknamed "GiGi" by its members. Lisa and husband Jimmy started "Always Christ to Succeed (ACTS) Ministry" in the early 80's and she continued the work of this ministry throughout her life.
Visitation will be 10:00 am Thursday, December 16, 2021, with recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am, followed by internment in the Boudan Family Cemetery, weather permitting. The family will receive friends after the services in the Church Community Hall.
