Myrtle Ann Bryant Seaman

Born September 11, 1941 in Bayou La Batre, Al and known affectionately as Cooter, she was the baby of the family and the last living child of her parents Robert Lee and Myrtle Kryger Bryant.

Myrtle Ann was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and loving Moomama to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband Grady Seaman, siblings and their spouses George Edward and Anita Bryant, Angela “Sissy” and Buddy Byrd, Herbert Robert Lee “Bobby” and Ruth Marie Bryant, Mary “Tootsie” and Julian Neese and John Harlow “Johnny” Bryant. She is also preceded by brother-in-law Glenn Graham, mother and father-in-law Levert and Ruby Seaman.

Mrs. Seaman is survived by her children and their spouses, Eric and Sandra Seaman, Darla and Woody Jones, Marcia and Mark Griggs and Alex and Lisha Seaman. She is also survived by her grandchildren and their spouses, Lisa and Nic Parks, Evan and Deanna Seaman, Alexandra Seaman, Andy and Jackie Seaman, Marina and Erica Cashiola, Braden Seaman, Savannah Griggs, Matthew Griggs, John Aaron Seaman, Helen Hicks; great-grandchildren, Camilla, Lucas, Grady Alex, Lilly, Kelcey, Bentley and Emma. Sisters-in-law, Ramona Graham, Peggy Seaman, brother-in-law Gilbert Seaman, many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her.

In lieu of flowers, memorial offerings may be made to First Baptist Church of Bayou La Batre Children’s Department.

Graveside services will be held in Oddfellow Cemetery on Monday, June 27, 2022 beginning at 11:00 a.m.
