Myrtle Juanita Steward

Myrtle Juanita Jordan Steward: Born May 23, 1931 Mobile County, AL passed away at Providence Hospice on May 8, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie W Steward; grandson, Tim Steward; parents, Howard and Myrtle Jordan; and brother, Roger Jordan. Mrs. Steward retired as a school teacher. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and a great-great grandmother. She is a member of the Woodridge Baptist Church. She is survived by her five children: Larry (Janice) Steward of Katy, TX; Wayne (Sherry) Steward of Axis, AL; Sharon (Larry) Bourgeois of Grand Bay, AL; Scott (Sheila) Steward of Mobile, AL; Randy Steward of Mobile, AL; seven grandchildren: Heather (David) Lusky of Columbia, TN; Melanie (Scott) Heinen of Katy, TX; Ryan (Fawn) Steward of Montgomery, TX; Brandon Steward of Grand Bay, AL; Tony Steward of Grand Bay, AL; Will Pipkins of Moorpark, CA; Shannon Chisholm of Mobile, AL; eleven great grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren; her sister, Louise Stafford of Grand Bay, AL; granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Steward Nobles of Satsuma, AL; nieces; nephews and other relatives. Visitation for Mrs. Steward will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway, with a chapel service immediately following. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Woodridge Baptist Church. After the service, the family would like to invite everyone to Woodridge Baptist Church on Schillinger Road for food and fellowship.
