Naomi M. Miles

Naomi M. Miles, 81 of Semmes, Alabama died Sunday February 22, 2015 at Gulf Coast Nursing Home. She was born October 18, 1933 in Grand Tower, Illinois to Fred and Carrie Fauss. Ms. Miles worked in retail sales for over 20 years with many awards for excellence before retiring from her position as Regional Manager. Naomi was an active member in the Red Hat Society until her health failed. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals and sharing recipes with family and friends. Her parents Fred and Carrie (Tucker) Fauss, her brothers Fred Fauss, Ralph Fauss, Walter Fauss, and Everett Fauss, and her sisters, Florence Davis, Esther Reeder, Evelyn Robinson, and Delores Hannah proceded her in death. She is survived by her children, George Miles (Spring) of DeSoto, Illinois, Phillip Miles (Denise) of Oveido, Florida, Elaine Wheeler (David) of Creola, Alabama, and Richard Miles (Schelle) of Semmes, Alabama and was also the beloved grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, February 28 at Radney Funeral Home in Mobile. The family would like to thank Alabama Nursing and Rehab and Alabama Hospice for the care and dedication during her last few months.
