Oscar William Canady a native of Memphis, TN and a longtime resident of Mobile, Alabama died on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at age 93.
Mr. Canady was a Veteran of WW II and a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church since 1968.
He is survived by son, Joseph Canady, Theodore, AL, daughter, Sara Palmer, Theodore, AL and daughter, Sue Nabb, Mobile, AL; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2 PM. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 PM Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens.
