Oscar G. (Big O) Copeland, Jr. – A native of Tuscaloosa, AL and resident of Mobile, AL passed away Sunday, November 7, 2010 at home. He is survived by two sons, Paul Gilbert Copeland, Mobile, AL and Russell Jeffery Copeland, Theodore, AL; mother of his children, Geraldine D. Copeland; one sister, Phyllis Sue Bell, Mobile, AL; one brother, William D. Copeland, Tampa, FL; three grandchildren, Jason Copeland, Tiffinee (Brian) Ayala and Katie Copeland; four great-grandchildren; and other relatives. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 9, 2010, at 12:00 noon from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
