Patricia Ann Frazier Anderson, “Trish”, peacefully entered eternity on Tuesday, February, 1, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Walter and Rosalie Fleming Frazier. Her two sisters, Betty Gail Godwin and Cynthia Lee Goins. Three precious nieces, Kimberly Denise Frazier, Brittnay Gail Green, and Crystal Nicole Godwin.
Trish was a cosmetologist and truly enjoyed her work serving others whether she worked inside or outside her home. For many years, she chose to work from home in order to make her family first priority. During this time, she enjoyed selling Avon, cutting hair, and substitute teaching while her daughters were in school. Eventually, she re-entered the workforce, working at Mobile County Public Schools as a teacher’s aide for 3 years, USA Medical Center in Medical Records for 15 years and then retired from Christian Counseling Services after 10 years where she made many lasting friendships. Her goal was to serve and help everyone that crossed her path in each of these endeavors. It was important to Trish that she made others feel seen and welcomed, and this came through in every job and volunteer opportunity to which she committed.
Trish was known as a woman of Christian prayer both in her private prayer times, as well as corporately in volunteer opportunities. She volunteered weekly for many years on a telephone prayer line service at Cottage Hill Baptist Church and also served as the Prayer Coordinator for Women’s Resource Center. Her journals are full of the names of people from all over the world that she prayed for. She enjoyed sewing and needle point, going on short term missionary building trips, the Tuesday morning Bible study at Mars Hill, and playing card games with her sisters. The thing that made her the happiest in this life was visits with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Left to cherish Trish’s beautiful memories will be her children, Tammi Theresa Anderson Mills, Rebecca Diane Anderson Buckley and Robert Clay Buckley. Grandchildren, Daniel Jeffery Mills (Mandy), William Andrew Mills (Kim), Rebekah Elizabeth Li Ann Mills, Anderson Chase Buckley (Amber), (Seattle WA) and Rachel Paran Buckley (Charleston, SC). Great Grandchildren, Daniel, Addison, Harlee, Alice, Lucy, Blaize, Raquelle, Jaxen and Jacen. Her siblings who were her best friends, Linda Walley, Diane Johnson, Marian Bostick, Charles (Deborah) Frazier, Roger (Janice) Frazier, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, her loving church family, and a host of wonderful friends.
Visitation for Mrs. Anderson will be held at Mars Hill Church, 1087 Downtowner Blvd., Saturday, March 12, at 11 a.m., with service to begin at 12 noon. Graveside service will immediately follow on the grounds of Springhill Memorial Cemetery, 600 Pierce Rd., Mobile, Al.
