Patricia (“Pat”) Smith Langham, age 75, of Semmes, Alabama passed away at home July 17, 2022. Pat was born January 12, 1947 in Brewton, Alabama and graduated from W.S. Neal High School in 1965. She married Gillis Earl Langham the following year. The couple spent time in North Carolina and Brewton before settling in the Mobile area in 1975.
Pat worked in the banking industry for many years and then transitioned to real estate. She began her real estate career with Marie McConnell Reality and moved to Ty Irby Realty where she worked until her retirement. Pat was an avid reader, rigorous researcher, and meticulous homemaker. She took great pride in caring for her family and friends and was fiercely protective of all she loved. Pat was a wonderful cook and talented candy maker. All acknowledged that her divinity was divine.
Mrs. Langham is preceded in death by her parents Robert and Emerald Findley, her brother Glenn Findley, and her son Kevin Langham. She is survived by her husband Gillis Earl, her daughters Angela (James) Bouchard and Karla (Benjamin) Dodson, and her brother Joe (Kay) Findley. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Tina Findley and her grandchildren Alexa (Alex) Bouchard Rodriguez and Pierson Bouchard.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. in the Oakleigh Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will be in Pine Crest West Cemetery, 1599 Snow Rd., Mobile, Alabama 36695.
