Pearl Inez Megginson, of Coden, AL, entered into rest Monday, February 22, 2016, at her home. The family will receive friends Thursday, February 25, 2016, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Zirlott Road United Methodist Church. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Interment will follow at Pine Crest Cemetery. Rev. John Simonson will officiate.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, and a lifelong member of Zirlott Road United Methodist Church, which she loved. Mrs. Megginson was preceded in death by her parents, Jake and Thelma Weekley and her husband, Meg.
She is survived by four children, Chip, Dean, Ronny, and Roy, two sisters, Vera and Nell, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
