Peggy Binet Brunt

Peggy Binet Brunt, 88, went to be with her Lord and savior on February 17, 2025. She was born to Ervin and Loraine Binet on January 31, 1937 in Mobile, AL. She was active in Mobile historic preservation, Mobile Mardi Gras and sailing on Mobile Bay with her family. She was incredibly dedicated to her family. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and a friend to all that knew her. Her dedication to her faith was unmeasurable. We know she is at peace with the Lord.

Peggy was preceded in death by her loving husband, E. Douglas Brunt, Jr.; her parents,

Ervin and Loraine Binet, her sister, Carol Binet Crabtree; her brother, Gene Binet; their

son, Van Douglas Brunt and a great grandson, Van Patrick Browne.

She is survived by her daughters, Page Brunt Gamble, Mary Gay Brunt Hunt (Patric Hunt)

and a son, Todd Brunt (Rhonda Brunt). Her sister-in-law, Lynn Binet, 7 grandchildren, 18

great grandchildren, 1 great, great grandson and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place at Little Flower Catholic Church on Monday, February 24, 2025

at 9:00am with a Catholic Mass of Christian Burial starting at 10:00am. We will proceed to Pine Crest

Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. (1939 Dauphin Island Parkway, Mobile AL)
