Peggy Ilsesta Hendrix, a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and a longtime resident of Theodore, Alabama died Tuesday, July 7th, 2020 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Alabama. She was retired from the Mobile County Public School System after a 35-year career as a cafeteria manager. She was preceded in death by her parents Hiram Henry Hall and Elnora Hall, her sisters Dorothy Louise (Dot) Hall, and Henrietta Dockery.
She is survived by her husband, James Charles Hendrix; sons, Tony Wade (Vickie) Hendrix and Tracy Lane Hendrix; one sister, Carol Hobson; two brothers, Roy Hall and Kenneth Hall; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
The family will receive visitors Friday, July 17, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606. A celebration of life memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
