

Mr. Ralph C. Driskell, A resident of Tanner Williams died at his home after a short illness at the age of 93. He graduated from Tanner Williams High School before earning an Associate’s Degree from Perkingston Junior College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science from Michigan State University. Ralph retired from Easter Seals. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lois Ballenger Driskell, his daughter Dr. Judy Ann Driskell, his parents Dewitt and Iva Driskell, brothers, Dr. Bertram(Bess)Driskell and Blake Driskell, sisters Univay(R.D.-deceased) Byrd and Betty(Stuart-deceased)Vickery. He is survived by sons, John C.(Barbara)Driskell, Jerry(Barbara)Driskell and James(Denise)Driskell. Grandchildren, Valeri(Ben)Driskell White, David A(Stephanie)Driskell, Sarah Driskell, Rev. Jeff(Wendy)Williams and Amy(David)Stephenson. Great grandchildren, Georgia White, Anastasia Lois Driskell ,Taylor, Hanna and Mason Williams, Chatman and Logan Stephenson. Five brothers, Murray(Shirley)Driskell, Linwood(Eulice) Driskell, Allen(Carolyn)Driskell, Everette(Bonita)Driskell, Dr. Charles Driskell and three sisters, Lois(Hannan-deceased)Pierce, Jullette(Al-deceased)Smith, Agnes(Robert-deceased)Goff, many nieces, nephews and one long time special friend Mary Johnson. Funeral services will be held from the Palestine Missionary Baptist Church on Monday March 26, 2012 at 11 AM., with Rev. Brent Robbins and Rev. Jeff Williams officiating. Mr. Driskell will be taken to church one hour prior to service time. Visitation will at Radney Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 until 8P.M. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Palestine Church Building Fund. Interment will be in the Palestine Cemetery
