Richard Gilbert Rush

Richard Gilbert Rush – a 73 year-old resident of Mobile passed away at his home on January 12, 2023. He had a great love for his family and loved spending time with his child and granddaughters. He was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ for many years.

Mr. Rush was preceded in death by his parents, Walter N. and Myrtle Rush, and brothers, Robin Rush and Philip Rush. He is survived by his only child, Chris Rush Nelson (Skip); granddaughters, Erin Nelson and Elizabeth Nelson; siblings, Walter Rush, Jr. (Ruby), Martin Rush (Lisa), and Vicki Smith (Tommy); other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the service hour.
