Rita J. Brannan - A lifelong resident of Mobile, died Monday, January 3, 2011, in a local nursing facility. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd L. Brannan; her son, Michael Brannan; and her grandson, Ronnie Brannan, Jr. Survivors include her son, Ron Brannan; one brother, Ralph Johnson; one sister, Loree Brankston; one grandson, Jeremy Scott (Tara) Brannan; her daughter-in-law, Diane Brannan; two sisters-in-law, Genevieve Rowell and Betty Miller; one brother-in-law, Harris Brannan; three great-grandchildren, Chloe, Natalie and Ben; other relatives and friends. Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
