Mrs. Rita Theresa Clay

Rita Theresa Clay, 95, a resident of Mobile, Alabama, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018. Rita was born on May 21, 1923 in Gueydan, Louisiana to Henry and Alice Falcon. She is preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Emmett Cobb and Tom Clay, and a brother, Elmo Falcon.

Mrs. Clay is survived by her children, Debra Metcalf and Tommy (Barbara) Cobb; grandchildren, Brian (Kirsten) Cobb, Matthew (Emily) Cobb, Ross Cobb, and Nicholas Cobb; 4 great grandchildren; and a sister, Mitzi Kincel.

Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Clay will be held Thursday, June 21, 2018 at 3:00 PM from St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church with Reverend Mark Neske serving as Celebrant of the Mass. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00 PM until the service hour. Interment will follow immediately at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Bayou La Batre. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church.
